Who We Are 5 Star Cares Developmental Disability Care

We specialize in providing care to patients who have Intellectual Disabilities/Developmental disabilities with moderate to severe nursing needs. We provide 24-hour nursing care by our Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to assist with a variety of medical needs.

We’re able to accept the same level of care as an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). Some of the consumers who were able to provide 5-STAR care are consumers with g/j- tubes, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), ventilator care, and Diabetics. Our ownership team is health care providers as well and has made a point to fix some of the issues with healthcare. We have low patient-to-staff ratios, 1:2 in most cases, and we’re considered a less restrictive environment than a nursing home or an ICF. Our patient age range is from 10 years old to 90+, and all require 24-hour nursing care.
